CIEF - 2022 DESIGN-BUILD COMPETITION

NCTS and CCS recently participated in their 4th consecutive Northern California Design-Build Competition sponsored by CIEF - Construction Industry Education Foundation. This year's event brought together approximately 550 students and trade professionals to simulate active job sites.

The goal is for each team to design and then build their 96-square-foot structure in a weekend-long competition. This partnership of students and professionals opens many doors to various skilled trades. The event provides hands-on experience and career opportunities to future leaders in the design, architecture, and construction industries.

Each year the number of participants grows. It's exciting for us to be part of this forward-thinking group of people and help bring attention to the many trade careers. Below, CIEF presents scholarships to several students.
